About 2,500 inhabitants, restaurants, businesses, shopping facilities and a lively club life are the heartbeat of our village. Wimmis is excellently connected to the transport network, so workplaces in Thun, Bern or the wider region are very easy to reach by public transport or with your own car. This makes Wimmis an ideal place to live and work. The village is characterised by its agricultural past. Today, an impressive number of agricultural and commercial enterprises are the most important employers.
